Allergen Concerns

Sweet Potato Pie, Flourless Chocolate Cake, Gluten-free Peach Cobbler, Gluten-free Blueberry Cobbler, and Pumpkin Pie (seasonal). All other desserts contain wheat.
Peanut Butter cookies are the only dessert made with peanuts. The following products contain tree nuts and/or coconut: Butter Pecan Cookies, Triple Chocolate Cookies (if you add Walnuts), Jamaican Rum Cake, Sweet Potato Pie, and Pumpkin Pie (seasonal).
Maple Glaze Pumpkin Spice Cake (seasonal) and any item made with chocolate contain soy. All other cakes contain a trace amount of soy. Non- chocolate cookies, cobblers, and pies are soy free.

Please note that we are not a gluten, nut, or soy free facility and while we adhere to strict practices to avoid cross-contamination, desserts are prepared on shared equipment and trace amounts of these items may be present. If you are allergic/intolerant/sensitive to ingredients beyond the ‘major 8’, email us at sales@vivianstreats.com before ordering to see if we can accommodate your condition.

Shipping

Anywhere in the lower 48; we’ll get to you Alaska and Hawaii, we promise.
We have to allow a sufficient window for preparation and packaging of everyone’s orders so unfortunately, your order will ship the following Monday. Having an order cut-off time allows us to provide all customers with a firm ship date as opposed to a speculative shipping window. That said, we accept preorders weeks or months in advance! Just load up your cart as usual, select your shipping method, and add a note during 2 checkout with the week that you want us to ship your order. Your order will ship on the Monday of that designated week.
You betcha! And at Vivian’s Southern Treats we reward advance planning - preorder more than 30 days in advance of your shipping date and we’ll credit you back a 10% early-ordering discount.
We use UPS and USPS for shipping. Their rates and options based on order destination will be displayed during checkout. To avoid your dessert languishing in a distribution center over the weekend, we recommend selecting a shipping option that will ensure your dessert arrives on or before Friday. If your order qualifies for free shipping, it will arrive on or before Friday.

Remember that we can guarantee when your order will ship (Mondays) but not when the order will arrive as carriers do experience weather or other unforeseen delays so please plan accordingly for Thanksgiving and other holidays.
All desserts are baked fresh but certain items may ship frozen to preserve quality during transit. Items are packaged securely (and lovingly) in interior containers then cushioned inside their shipping box. During summer months, pies and items containing chocolate will ship in insulated packaging and may also contain frozen gel packs which will thaw in transit.
Yes! Order pick up is available on Mondays between 11:00am-6:00pm at our commercial kitchen (HH Artisan Kitchen, 1690 Hwy 34 E. Ste. H, Newnan, GA 30265). Simply order before midnight on Friday and select “Pick up” as your delivery option at checkout.
Yes! We participate in local farmers markets and events almost every weekend. First, head over to our Event Calendar page and see when we’ll be closer to you. Second, select the “Pick up” delivery option at checkout and third, list the event in the notes section at checkout (e.g. March 1 Vinings Farmers Market). You will receive a pick up reminder the night before the market/event. Note – market and event orders do require 72 hours’ notice but are not subject to the Friday midnight cut-off rule i.e. if you order on a Tuesday, you can pick up your order at a Saturday event (ah-ha a loophole!)
Yes. All orders placed before midnight (EST) on Friday will ship on Monday. Orders placed after this time will ship the following Monday.

Storage and Serving

Keep them in their original VST packaging or rewrap tightly to minimize exposure to air and moisture.

Cookies – Store at room temperature (under 70 degrees) for 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

Cakes – Store at room temperature for 5 days, in the fridge for up to 10 days, or in the freezer for up to 4 months.

Pies and Cobblers – Store in the fridge for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 4 months.
Cookies can be enjoyed at room temperature but for that ‘fresh from the oven’ gooeyness, heat cookies on a baking sheet for 5-7 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Allow them to rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool.

Cobblers are shipped in an oven and freezer safe container to allow for easy storage and reheating. Simply remove the plastic cover and pop in the oven (350 degrees for 8-10 minutes) or microwave until the middle is warm and the smell of baking spices wafts through the air.

Pies can be enjoyed at room temperature, straight from the fridge, or warm. We recommend reheating in an oven (350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the pie center is warm) and not in a microwave to preserve the flakiness of the crust.

Vanilla Pound Cakes can be enjoyed upon arrival; just unwrap and slice. If cake has been stored in the freezer, thaw at room temperature.

All other cakes arrive with icing and garnish for you to add (it’s not DIY, it’s “interactive”) and you can decorate with as much or as little as you like. Just unwrap the cake and remove the icing packet and garnish bag. Microwave the icing for 10-15 seconds. Stir and drizzle over your cake. Sprinkle the garnish and enjoy!

When we say we don’t make ‘cookie cutter’ cookies, we mean it! Our desserts are all handcrafted and for cookies, that means shaped by hand so no perfect circles here. Though the Perfect Circle Cookie Company©™ could have spin- off potential …
Please, for the love of humanity, go outside and touch some grass.
Add it to you favorite non-VST pastry! Punch up lemon poppy or blueberry muffins with lemon glaze or drizzle chocolate glaze over pancakes. Leftover rum glaze … um, shooters?
